“At JetRails, we know how difficult the process of finding the right agency can be. That’s why we’ve vetted dozens of them and would be happy to pair you up with an outstanding Magento Agency that matches your needs and requirements.“
In 2015, the #1 reason that merchants didn’t choose Magento 2 was that it was too new, and they wanted to wait for some of the bugs to be worked out. In 2020, the top reason is cost. Magento 2 is a robust platform, making the cost for a new build or migration from Magento 1 a bitter pill to swallow financially.
However, in the almost 5 years that Magento 2 has been live, tens of thousands of M2 sites have launched. As with most things in life, when you do something enough times, you get good at it. In some cases, you even find ways to optimize your processes and save time and resources.
In the Magento world, the partner agencies have been leading the charge when it comes to Magento 2 launch accelerators. These are firms with groups of developers who work on numerous Magento 2 site builds, and that come up with ways to minimize cost and maximize deliverables.
As part of our #CommunityCollaboration series, we’ve been collecting information from leading Magento agencies on their Magento Migration + Magento 2 Launch Accelerators. Here are some of the options that we’ve come across so far (listed in alphabetical order):
121eCommerce Magento Rapid Launch service
Starting at $41,000 for a 6-8 week site build, this service includes everything from creating a homepage to setting up standard shipping and payments to importing your product catalog. There are also any number of add-ons available, providing more transparency and clarity when it comes to both time and cost to launch your new Magento 2 site, depending on the specifications you choose.
Imagination Media BOOST accelerator
Created in partnership with Braintree, BOOST starts at $35,000. This service can be completed in as few as 90 days and can be tailored to your custom requirements. By default, it includes 20 hours of custom branding for Magento’s native Luma theme, 4 hours of transactional email branding work, and custom Page Builder setup too. It also includes configuring Elastic Search and Gift Cards, and blocks of hours for Magento Admin training and eCommerce Professions Services consulting.
Kensium Magento Migration Package
A 6 to 8 week program for migrating from Magento 1 to Magento 2 with an estimated cost of $39,840. This service includes everything from choosing a theme and making design edits, to integrating an email marketing extension for a solution like Mailchimp. Actual pricing will vary based upon your specifications.
Are you an SMB looking to build a Magento 2 site on a tighter budget? We’ve identified agencies that may not have an official accelerator program that they’re marketing, but that do have lower starting rates (some start well below $10,000). We’re currently offering a free matchmaking service for the Magento Community, and would be happy to recommend agencies that could be a good fit for your project.
Are you an Enterprise, and not sure which agency or accelerator will match your specifications? At JetRails, we know how difficult the process of finding the right agency can be. That’s why we’ve vetted dozens of them and would be happy to pair you up with an outstanding Magento Agency that matches your needs and requirements.
